Weekend Home

I had a great weekend! I partied HARD! I was busy from the minute I landed in Detroit. It was kind of weird being back home. It might've just been the fact that it was so cold and I kept a constant chill down my spine. Vegas isn't that warm right now. It's a little over 50 degrees, but it was 20 in Detroit. But, I was happy to be home! My friend came and picked me up from the airport and we went out and had an extremely early breakfast and then I went home and slept for a couple of hours. I got up and went to watch my little niece's basketball game and then I went to the mall with my older niece and her boyfriend. He bought me some earrings, so I like him already. lol. Shout out to my new nephew in law. Just kidding. He's still on probation until further notice. But, he's cool, so far. Then me and my mom went over my aunt's house so I could see my grandma. I have been feeling kind of confused about my career path and she kind of put things in prospective for me. My grandma is 97 and she has a lot of life experience and knowledge, so anytime I am going through something I try to talk to her because she is so wise and because she knows and loves me. My mom and aunt left and went to the grocery store so me and my grandma could spend some time alone. Then me and my mom went to the mall and bought some makeup. I needed my MAC foundation really bad. I am so over this natural look. Then while my mom was driving me over my niece's house, her car stopped. So, I had to call AAA and get it towed. My niece dropped one of her cars off to me and my mom rode with the tow truck guy back to my parent's house. She was excited because she got the opportunity to preach to him : ) My mom is so positive! Despite her car exploding, she was still joyous because she got a ministering opportunity! Anyway, I rode to my niece's and took a shower and got dressed. I wore the world's shortest dress. That thing could've been a shirt! But, it was super cute, so I wore it with some opaque tights and my cousin's cute patent ankle boots. Cute! I left and went to pick up my cousin (who was celebrating her birthday) from the hotel where her and her husband were staying. My cousin looked amazing! She is so damn fly! Everybody looked great! My niece looked fresh and happy! She had this light about her that I haven't seen in a while. She was beautiful! We finally made it to the party and everybody made sure that my cousin got nice and drunk. She was celebrating an important milestone and it was important that she celebrated it with as much alcohol as possible! We had a great time! Surprisingly, I was the only sober one. I only had two drinks all night. Two Sex on the Beaches and that's it! My brother came with some of his friends. He's such a handsome young man. We had sooo much fun! The next day I woke up and went over to my friend's house and we watched Sex and the City season 3 and drank cosmos. We used to do that all the time when we were younger. We ordered food from Happy's Pizza-one of my favorite joints! We had a really good time. Then I went back over my parent's for some turkey dinner and then my niece came and picked me up and we went to the bar and had a few drinks. It was a fun night!!! The next day I went to a Martin Luther King Jr. celebration. My little niece danced for the event. Then I went back over to my parent's house to say goodbye. Then I went back to my niece's to get my stuff and she took me to the airport, and that was my weekend in Detroit. It was filled with family, alcohol, friends and fun! Unfortunately, I didn't get to see all of my friends and family since I was only there two full days. I will stay longer next time! I miss everybody so much, but this trip kind of helped with my homesickness. A little. I was a little pissed during the trip because one of my friends PLAYED ME! His fake ass! But, it doesn't change the fact that I had a beautiful trip back home, I got to share in my cousin's bday celebration and I got to see my mom, dad, little brother, nieces and nephew. I think I can make it another three months now...I hope so.

Glad you had a good time, but I don't see how getting drunk is fun. How would you know you had fun???

The previous comment is ludicrous! Of course getting drunk is fun. Saying otherwise is a slap at all self-respecting, civilized people. What are you gonna do next, piss on the bible? People like you should be thrown in jail!
