I have been in Vegas for seven months now and it's taken this amount of time for me to finally feel a little bit at home. I'm starting to catch my stride at work. I was able to do some supervising and on-air pitching at the radio station in the last couple of weeks. I'm really learning a lot and growing as a media professional. I've done a little freelancing here. It's great!
I am starting to enjoy the city. I had a blast last weekend and I am starting to discover parts of being here that I really enjoy. Last night me and a couple of co-workers went to the Vegas Uncorked event sponsored by Bon Appetit at Caesar's Palace, and I enjoyed some really great food and wine. It was absolutely fabulous! The weather is great right now! It's always 80 degrees and dry. But, the best part about being out here is that I have learned so much about myself and what I want out of life.
I hope to move to the East Coast this year and really take my media career and writing to the next level. And hopefully next year I can take a European Holiday.
I'm loving life right now and I am excited to see what the future holds!
