Sam and the City: Happy New Year

Happy New Year everybody! I really think it's going to be a good one! I definitely brought it in with a bang. I went to a really cool party on New Year's Eve.

New Year's Day I chilled a little bit and went to the movies with my mom and saw Seven Pounds. It was really good.

The next day I went over a friend's and partied a little too much. I paid for it the next day. But, it was all worth it!

This week I discovered how much I love being single. I love the idea of meeting, flirting and hanging out with no expectations. I expect to have fun and then I expect to just walk away. No feelings. No work. Just fun. How fun is that? I honestly love the idea that my only worry in life is whether or not I will ever land a bookdeal and live the life I always dreamed of. I want to wake up everyday and sit at my computer and write all the ideas that live in my head and people actually want to go to the bookstore and read what I imagined. That's it.

Anyway, I am looking forward to lots of writing, lots of creativity (I want to do a play this year) and lots of fun in 2009!

Cheers!

xoxo

Sam
