Hey Everybody!

I hope everyone is doing fabulously this week!!!

Here's an update on what's going on with me and my dream chasing...

Yesterday I had rehearsal for "The 1940s Radio Hour." And, I was fatigued and I hated my singing. I did the show eight years ago and I am singing my solo completely different than the last time I sang it and it has turned out to be quite the challenge. I am going to see a vocal coach soon and hopefully she can give me some pointers to help me hit high notes and help me with my confidence when I sing them. I am so used to singing low and I need some assistance in that regard.

I'm really excited for the show and I hope you guys will come out and see it. We open next month. Stay tuned to this blog for details.

I am emceeing four shows this weekend at Chaplin's Comedy Club in Clinton Township, MI. There are shows at 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. both Friday 12/10 and Saturday 12/11. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. I'm always nervous when I perform but I haven't done any comedy in a month so it will be nice to get back into the groove. http://www.chaplinscomedyclub.com/21.html

I'm working really hard writing, singing, dancing and telling jokes and I hope one day all of this hard work pays off. I love all of the above so much! I cry sometimes when I think about how much I love writing and performing. I have been performing since I was three and writing since I was 12 years old. I hope that one day I can use my passions to help my family and support myself, fully. That'd be a dream come true.

I hope to have some new video for you guys soon! I am working on it.

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend.

xoxo

Sam
