Chasing the Dream (Day 696) 1940s Radio Hour and More
Hi guys and Happy Friday!!!
The 1940s Radio Hour opens tonight at Birmingham Village Players and runs through the 6th of February. For any of you who might be coming to check us out anytime during the run of the show, I will see you there!
I have worked my butt off in rehearsals, at home and with my vocal teacher for this show so I am hoping that all goes well tonight and every other night of the show. To all of my fellow cast members-BREAK LEGS!
The picture above is from one of our dress rehearsals. I took it backstage with my camera phone. Look at the 1940s hair!
Anyway, if you guys want to see the show and you are in the Michigan area you can call 248.644.2075 for tix and information.
P.s. Make sure to pick up or check out the Wednesday, Jan. 26th issue of Real Detroit Weekly where I preview the touring production of "In the Heights." I interviewed Joseph Morales who plays Usnavi (originally played by the show's genius Lin-Manuel Miranda). The show will be making its Detroit debut on Feb. 1st. I am excited to see it live. I saw it recently on PBS.
Have a wonderful Friday and if I don't speak to you before the weekend is over have a great weekend!
