Start off Pride month right by coming to Blumz in Ferndale this Friday, June 3rd for a "Under the Poppy" event that is sure to be an event for the ages-Victorian ages that is! Wear your favorite Victorian-esque garb and join author Kathe Koja for a night of live music, cocktails, appetizers and fun!

I had the pleasure of interviewing the author a few months ago for Between the Lines where she talked about her love for Detroit and her passion for "Under the Poppy. Here's the link to the BTL story about Kathe and her fun and sexy novel: http://www.pridesource.com/article.html?article=43937

Kathe will be signing books and if you purchase a copy of this delectable piece of literature that is "Under the Poppy" you will receive a specially autographed copy of the stage show script on June 25 when "Queer for Books" reads the novel.

Don't miss it!

Tickets: $30 in advance @ FPL or Blumz/ $40 at the door.
