Entrepreneurship is wonderfully frightening

Today I had a meeting with a small business counselor and I feel energized and excited. I've always felt energized and excited about my Shakespeare company, but my energy is expanding.

I must say that I am quite frightened by the idea of pioneering a cultural experience in Detroit. It's a big feat and I'm only one woman. But, I am more than confident that the people in this great city who believe in Detroit as much as I do will pull together to make this dream come true. (Check out my interview with Fox 2 News Detroit  for more details: http://www.myfoxdetroit.com/story/18509085/2012/05/17/white-house-holds-urban-economic-forum-in-detroit?clienttype=printable ) . If I can pull this off, it will be a creative movement that will live much longer than myself and, hopefully, enhance the cultural landscape of our beloved Detroit.

I am still unable to share my business in detail. But, I should be able to in the upcoming weeks.

Thanks for joining me on this wonderfully frightening rollercoaster called "entrepreneurship."

xoxo
